RETURN AND WARRANTY – GENERAL STATEMENT
Our return and warranty policies depend on the type of product sold in our store.
As you shop on our store you will see pictures and a description for each product. If you are purchasing a used or pre-owned item you need to take into account that the item will have normal “wear and tear”, do not expect the item to be in new or mint condition. We will make our best efforts to describe major defects, but minor defects and normal wear and tear should be expected in all used or pre-owned parts. Do not expect to read normal “wear and tear” description for any of our used or pre-owned products.
Buyer is responsible for asking questions that will clarify and determine the final condition on the product beyond the one that has been provided in pictures or in the product description. Please email us any questions you may have. Our email address is info@motoconnection.com
RETURNS DUE TO OUR MISTAKE
We will honor returns for the following situations:
Damaged Goods: If an item arrives with visible damaged, and such damage was not visible in the pictures or was not described, we will accept a return of said item. An item will not be considered damaged if any one of the following conditions apply: (i) damage is visible in any of the posted pictures, (ii) damage is described in our description section, or (iii) damage is normal “wear and tear”. We accept no returns on frames electrical systems and fuel systems.
Incorrect Shipment: If we have sent you a different item than the one you purchased, we will accept a return of said item.
You have 7 days after the receipt of the item to claim a return for the reasons described in this section (Returns Due To Our Mistake). To return an item, you first need to contact our store in writing via email (our email address is info@motoconnection.com
) within the 7 day period so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) with return shipment instructions. We will not accept a return item without a RAN. All returns must be postmarked no later than 7 days after we have issued the RAN. Returns and exchanges must be in the same condition the part was sent from us and must include all original packing material (new items).
Once the item has arrived in our store our technicians will examine and determine if the case falls into one of the two situations described in this section (ie, damaged goods or incorrect shipment). If this is the case, we will reimburse you for the return shipping costs based on the shipping instructions provided to you by us. In this case we will:
replace the item with another one, or
refund you the amount of your purchase (for payments with Paypal or credit card we will credit you back, for cash payments we will reimburse you with a company check, for wire transfers we will wire you back the funds less the wire banking fees).
NO RETURNS on any of the following situations:
(i) Any special order, or
(ii) A claim is filed with us after the 7 day period counted from the day you received the item, or
(iii) if our technician’s review of the item determine that the case does not fall into one of the situations described in this section (damaged item, or incorrect shipment), or
(iii) when the item is a frame, or an electrical system or a fuel system.
In the case a return is not considered acceptable we will: (i) not reimburse the buyer for the return shipping costs, and (ii) will we not refund the buyer nor replace the purchased item.
RETURN POLICY AND WARRANTY ON FRAMES (THIS IS FOR THE FRAME TEMPLATE ONLY)
The frame(s) you are purchasing comes from a pre-owned or used motorcycle. It will probably show normal “wear and tear”. The motorcycle frames sold from our store will be shipped with a Bill of Sale that will show the VIN No of the original motorcycle. We do not sell frames with Titles, only Bill of Sale. We do not warrant nor accept returns on frames unless we did not ship you the item you purchased
RETURN POLICY AND WARRANTY ON ENGINES (THIS IS FOR THE ENGINE TEMPLATE ONLY)
You are purchasing an engine from a pre-owned or used motorcycle that has been tested to run. This is an “as is” sale with no warranties. We will honor a return only in the event that the engine is “locked” (locked engine means it does not turn).
You have 7 days after the receipt of the engine to claim a return for the reason described in this section (locked engine only). To return the engine you first need to contact our store in writing via email (our email address is info@motoconnection.com
) within the 7 day period so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) with return shipment instructions. We will not accept a return item without a RAN. All returns must be postmarked no later than 7 days after we have issued the RAN. Returns and exchanges must be in the same condition the part was sent from us and must include all original packing material.
Once the returned engine has checked by the technicians in our shop to confirm that the returned engine is locked, we will reimburse you for the return shipping costs and:
replace the engine with another one, or
refund you the amount of your purchase (for payments with Paypal or credit card we will credit you back, for cash payments we will reimburse you with a company check, for wire transfers we will wire you back the funds less the wire banking fees).
Do not attempt to fix the engine, open it, tamper it or take it apart in any way. If the engine has been tampered with or any parts of the engine are missing, it will not be considered a returnable item and no refunds or replacements will be made top the buyer.
We will not consider the engine as returnable if the above conditions do not apply
RETURN POLICY AND WARRANTY ON OTHER PRE-OWNED OR USED PARTS: (THIS IS FOR THE USED PARTS TEMPLATE ONLY)
You have 7 days after the receipt of a used or pre-owned part to request a return. There will be a 20% restocking fee when you return a used or pre-owned part and buyer pays for return shipping costs, unless the case falls into the situations described in the “Returns Due To Our Mistake” section.
To return the used or pre-owned part you first need to contact our store in writing via email (our email address is info@motoconnection.com
) within the 7 day period so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) with return shipment instructions. We will not accept a return item without a RAN. All returns must be postmarked no later than 7 days after we have issued the RAN. Returns and exchanges must be in the same condition the part was sent from us and must include all original packing material.
We accept no returns on frames electrical systems and fuel systems. For further clarification on used or pre-owned parts, please read the “Return and Warranty – General Statement” section above.
RETURN POLICY AND WARRANTY ON TIRES (THIS IS FOR THE TIRES TEMPLATE ONLY)
You have 7 days after the receipt of the item to solicit a return. There will be a 20% restocking fee when you return a tire and buyer pays for return shipping costs, unless the case falls under the situations described in the “Returns Due To Our Mistake” section.
