Michelin Power Race Soft Tires

The Michelin Power Race Soft Tire is tire with a compound which features a single soft compound overall, no dual compound. Also available in 2CT Medium-Soft and 2CT Medium compounds which feature an intermediate center section and a softer compound shoulder. All compounds were originally developed for MotoGP racing and have excellent high speed stability thanks to carcass construction made up of two angled polyester plies and a zero-degree Aramid belt. The Semi-slick tread pattern to maximize the contact patch especially at full lean, and increase stability of the tread and tread grooves are oriented to evacuate water from the contact patch in damp track conditions.

Rounded front profile and sharper rear profile actually help shift weight of the bike toward the front for improved front end feedback under braking - this also minimizes the need for adjusting suspension settings and W-rated for speeds up to 168 mph
